Cal Poly Pomona's Tomatozania, featuring hundreds of varieties of tomato plants for sale, will begin March 18 at the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store, 4102 S. University Drive, Pomona. Varieties range from the well-known San Marzano, Better Boy, Green Zebra and Cherokee Purple to the Abu Rawan, Blue Cream, Berries, Braveheart, St. Pierre, Tie-Dye Pink and many more. There will be plants for large gardens, those that flourish in containers and micro tomato plants. All the plants were propagated and grown by Cal Poly Pomona student employees who are plant sciences majors, according to a news release.
